Unit 8 Vocabulary Unit C

spy?

My husband has a subscription to the Journal of the Navy for years. The truth is that it has a number of paragraphs full of curiosities, stories of the sea, sailors, people delivered and especially history. Reading the number of October last year in the Miscellaneous section found an article that we discussed with friends and we laugh game, I searched for information over the network and have come up photos of the protagonist of the story I'm going to copy and well worth a comment.

24,393 .- born survivor. (Signed JR)

On May 27, 1941, shortly after that the battleship Bismarck was sunk in a terrible and unequal combatecuando the destroyer HMS Cossack trying to rescue survivors of the battleship, from the wreck appeared a cat climbed a tree. A sailor of the destroyer was lowered to the surface and was rescued. ERL cat was black with a white band on the neck, had yellow eyes and wearing a collar with a badge with his name, Oscar, and explained that part of the "endowment" of the German battleship.

The castaway cat adopt left the Royal Navy and remained in the Cossack until October 23 was sunk by German submarine U 563. Oscar could be safe in a destroyer of boats, rescued by the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal, which was again adopted, but not for long, since the November 14 U 81 torpedoed the carrier, sinking. Survivor

born, Oscar again saved his skin, but did not return to sea, perhaps to understand the Admiralty that if Germany was not a spy, was a downright jinxed. He spent "for" the home of marine Belfast, where he later died a peaceful existence, they say that looking at the sea in 1955.

This is the amazing story of Oscar cat ... but the good news is that network to search for information on this cat, especially a picture to illustrate the subject, I bullet with another cat named Oscar and the truth has given me a bad feeling about the history of those that make your hair stand on end ... if anyone is curious just have to find the net ... I do not say much else.

What Does The Bottom Of A Le Creuset

Phobia "?

Ando
very entertaining in my moments of rest. In the end I chopped and I signed up to Facebook. After the first moments, as always, you pay the hazing doing things you should not do, charge me a browser having to download another, write stupidity after stupidity, though I laugh a lot with them ... well then last night gave me a panic attack.

If as is, was chatting with some friends chatting quietly when I started to sweat, my pulse quickened and watch with horror that he was abducted by the screen, my fingers could not depart from the keyboard, and I felt like thousands of eyes peered at me from every corner. I had to shut down, if I had to get up and snuff I had smoked a whole box.

I was dying of terror, can certainly be an exaggeration but it is not. I do not like crowds but not to the point of not being able to go to the cinema or a concert or shopping in a department store ... of course I always try to go when they are about to begin and be numbered seat or go shopping minimum flow times. I have agoraphobia, height has nothing to do with the vertigo and consulting ... a professional tells me that something similar could happen to me last night.

After reflecting and comparing felt the same that once tried to climb the ladder Saints Jerome carved into the rock, the other possibility of scaling up was unthinkable for me, when I took 10 steps and that was narrowing the couple's view of the gulf widened, I began to sweat, have palpitations violent, I could not breathe, my legs were lead and locks could not move and the impression of being swallowed by the space opened up before me. And that's what happened to me last night ...

will be a matter of going with touch ... do not want to end up like the main picture.

Bearded Dragons Live With Other Lizards

Stepper and friendships ... Sable Island

Walking is easy, provided one is in good physical condition. Slowly

one foot before the other, and again ... and again ... and back again, as the poet is made by walking ... and so we are moving through life.

by standing here and there, leaving the path clear and easy to get into places most hostile and inaccessible. Backing

some, or many times, trying to get back on track lost. But step by step ... one foot and one after. Supporting

times not to fall or fail in something or someone ... and step by step follow the path. The road of life.

Friends, friends, friends, moments ... support?, Sometimes but not always.

Trust? necessary to avoid falling over and over again.

But still, slowly step by step. Deceptions, disappointments, loyalty, lies ... tears, smiles, missed meetings ... we, step by step.

Mild shadows, marks outlined in the snow, steps during the life of your cold. There are only in memory, and sometimes not even that.

Step by step, learn, carry the bag of experience; think it is full when suddenly ... more harvest. Step by step we follow.

Is Bangbros Safe To Pay For

An eloquent picture of the conditions under which ships can be found: heavy fog, strong currents and winds that carry the boats to the island and shoals
Vista from a satellite looks like a lazy snake sunbathing, nothing portends dangerous.
One of the photographs of Robert Dutesco.

already entered the new year, family after the holidays alone and quiet but with a devilish time: intense cold, frozen pipes, snow, rising temperatures and wonderful time that lasts a sigh, water, and, finally, a terrible wind that has made me raise the roof tiles that were just September put ... but in the end is what you need to pay for a house in the middle of the forest and a nature reserve.

These days I spent reading, or rather to the review of some things I wanted to refresh and among the books, notes and things left for "tomorrow" I find pictures of a fantastic place to do A few years caught my attention. And as if by magic the next day on TV are making a documentary of Roberto Dutesco when he went to photograph this place fascinated me for some time and which I now and here declare a genuine love and someday I hope to see with my own eyes and make my photographs ...

I'm talking about Sable Island, a lost place more or less 300 KM. the coast of Nova Scotia in Canada. As its name suggests (in French than in English says otherwise) is a sand island, has an elongated shape produced by the meeting of two currents: the South arrives: warm, and coming from the North: cold and dangerous. The place is known for shipwrecks have occurred in that place, there are nearly 400 recorded since 1583. It is called the graveyard of ships. If you clic on the title it will be opened the official website of the place and you will see photos of the museum and the ships that were there forever.

Surely you might be wondering how you can fall in love and such a place which, given my love of sailing, which should run banshee ... but is that the island holds something that excites me more than perhaps it: HORSES.

How to get to places so inhospitable? are probably born to survivors in remote times, managed to reach safety there, and today are race that has acclimated to the scene to perfection, or, more realistically, they were brought there by Jewish settlements. They are quiet, live in good conditions, no one bothers them, they have no predators, are confident and pose as anyone. I recommend the entry on this page: http://www.dutesco.com/ photographs he made in Sable are fabulous.

Well, prepare what I want to stop being a dream and will soon become a reality. Of course these Sandpeople, horses have something in common with my other passion: Egypt. When you are eating grass with traces of sand your teeth suffer wear and tear that the men also had Ancient Egypt.
